Our origins
Lean Hydrogen cannot be understood without Abengoa Hydrogen or H2B2, why? Because the founders of Lean Hydrogen met at Abengoa and we left together to create H2B2. Then, we got together again, this time as entrepreneurs, to create Lean Hydrogen and help companies interested in green hydrogen to develop their sustainable projects. We have been offering technical office services focused on renewable hydrogen and its energy derivatives, such as methanol and ammonia, since 2020. But you really think that we were already working with hydrogen in 2010. Yes, yes, since 2010.
Our evolution
2020
We began our journey with the first clients. They were few but significant, including some from the IBEX 35.
2021
We have the feeling that even in the hydrogen world there are fads. In 2021 we mainly did conceptual and basic engineering for plants with 50 and 100 MW of electrolysis capacity.
2022
Following the fashions, 2022 was a year of hydrogen injection systems in Natural Gas (blending) but above all, it was a year of working on mobility projects. We designed many hydrogenerators and hydroliners for several clients.
2023
As I am sure you have already guessed, 2023 followed the pattern of previous years.This year was the year of detailed (or constructive) engineering. The beauty of this type of work is that it ends with commissioning and operating hydrogen plants.
2024
This year everything points to the fact that we will continue to support our customers in the plants that were built in 2023 and also, and this is very important, we have started our own R&D projects.

Since 2010, we have been at the forefront of hydrogen project development, ranging from design to successful commissioning of electrolyzers, fuel cells and HRS (hydrogen refueling stations). Our track record of more than a decade in this innovative industry demonstrates our commitment and expertise in delivering high-performance solutions in the exciting world of hydrogen. Now we have put all that knowledge, acquired over the years, at the service of the companies that rely on us to drive their projects forward.

In addition, he is immersed in a PhD program focused on the electrochemical compression of hydrogen, which demonstrates his constant dedication to innovation and excellence in our sector.
